General provisions

ATLA (“ATLA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you provide to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, transfer and protect personal data when you visit our website, contact us, submit an enquiry, participate in a recruitment process or otherwise interact with our services.

ATLA provides international recruitment and related services, including the sourcing and placement of qualified professionals for employers operating across different industries and regions.

Our activities may involve the processing and transfer of personal data between different countries, including Uzbekistan, India, other countries in Central Asia, the Gulf states, Europe and other jurisdictions in which our clients, candidates, partners or service providers operate.

02

Personal data we collect

The personal data we collect depends on the nature of your interaction with ATLA and the services you use.

We may collect identification and contact information, including your name, email address, telephone number, residential address, nationality, date of birth and other information necessary to communicate with you or provide our services.

In relation to candidates and workers, we may also process professional and employment-related information, including work experience, education, qualifications, professional skills, licences, certificates, language proficiency, CVs, references and information regarding availability for employment.

Where necessary for recruitment, immigration procedures, mobilisation or employment, we may process information contained in passports, visas, work permits, identity documents and other supporting documentation.

We may also receive information that you voluntarily provide through our website, contact forms, email, telephone, messaging services or other communication channels used to contact ATLA.

03

How we obtain personal data

We may obtain personal data directly from you when you submit an enquiry, contact our team, provide employment documentation, apply for a vacancy or otherwise interact with ATLA.

Personal data may also be obtained from recruitment partners, employers, professional networks, publicly available sources, referees, authorised representatives and other organisations involved in recruitment or workforce mobility processes.

When you use our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and basic information about your use of the website.

04

How we use your personal data

We use personal data only to the extent reasonably necessary to conduct our business, provide recruitment services and comply with our legal obligations.

This may include responding to enquiries, assessing candidates, identifying suitable vacancies, communicating with prospective employers, arranging interviews, supporting the hiring process and coordinating workforce mobility.

Personal data may also be used to verify qualifications and documents, manage business relationships, maintain necessary records, improve our services, protect ATLA’s legitimate interests and comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

05

Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal data, ATLA processes such data on one or more grounds permitted by law.

These grounds may include your consent, the necessity to perform a contract or take steps before entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in providing and protecting recruitment and workforce services.

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent in accordance with applicable law. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that may continue on another lawful basis.

06

Candidate data

As part of our international recruitment activities, ATLA may process candidates’ personal data to assess their qualifications and present them to prospective employers for potential employment.

Candidate information may be provided to prospective or current employers where reasonably necessary to assess a candidate’s suitability for a particular vacancy or continue the recruitment process.

Depending on the role and destination country, additional information may be required for employment, immigration procedures, visas, work permits, travel, onboarding or mobilisation.

We seek to limit the personal data processed to information reasonably necessary for the relevant recruitment or employment purpose.

07

Sharing personal data

ATLA does not sell personal data.

Where necessary to provide our services, we may share personal data with prospective and current employers, recruitment partners, affiliated organisations, professional advisers and service providers.

Where necessary for lawful procedures relating to recruitment, employment, migration or regulatory compliance, personal data may also be shared with immigration authorities, government and regulatory bodies, embassies, consulates and other organisations.

We may also disclose information where required by law, a court order or other lawful process, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights and legitimate interests of ATLA, users, candidates or clients.

08

International data transfers

Because ATLA operates in international recruitment, your personal data may be transferred to, used in or processed in countries other than the country in which it was originally collected.

These countries may have different laws and standards governing the protection of personal data.

Where required by applicable law, ATLA takes reasonable measures to ensure that international transfers of personal data are carried out using appropriate legal mechanisms and safeguards.

09

Uzbekistan and Central Asia

Where personal data is collected or processed in Uzbekistan, ATLA seeks to process such data in accordance with applicable requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning personal data and its protection.

This includes applicable requirements relating to the collection, processing, storage, protection and transfer of personal data.

Where legislation establishes specific requirements concerning the storage, localisation or cross-border transfer of personal data, ATLA takes reasonable measures to comply with those requirements.

10

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was obtained. This may include recruitment, contractual performance, administrative processes and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Where permitted by applicable law, candidate data may be retained so that candidates can be considered for future employment opportunities.

When personal data is no longer required, we may delete, anonymise or securely destroy it in accordance with applicable procedures and legal obligations.

11

Data security

ATLA implements reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

Access to personal data is provided to employees, contractors, partners and service providers only to the extent necessary to perform legitimate business responsibilities.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

12

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have certain rights in relation to personal data processed by ATLA.

These rights may include the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of data where provided by law, restriction of or objection to processing, withdrawal of consent and information about how your data is processed.

The exercise of certain rights may be subject to legal requirements, statutory exceptions or other lawful grounds for processing.

Requests relating to personal data may be submitted using the contact details provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.

13

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for website operation, security, analytics and performance measurement.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used only after appropriate consent has been obtained.

You may also manage certain cookies through your browser settings.

14

Our website or communications may contain links to third-party websites, platforms and services.

15

Personal data of minors

ATLA’s recruitment and workforce services are primarily intended for adults and are not directed at children.

Except where permitted by law and necessary for a specific lawful purpose, we do not seek to knowingly collect personal data relating to minors through our website.
